Hey guys, just wondering if anyone have a ubuntu desktop running.

things like https://ubuntu-mate.org/

or something of similar.

I have the pynq version of debian, which still missing a lot of stuff… just loading up the wifi took a long time and I am having a difficult time installing opencv, caffe, tensorflow and along with other things.

@fletch does avnet or xilinx have updated caffe/opencv guides that go with the new images? Afaik the older guide relied on an Ubuntu image that never got released.
