dragonboard does not connect to WiFi with hidden SSID

OS is debian (283). Trying to connect to WiFi works if network is Open. If network is hidden, it does not connect. I have tried this with WPAv1 Personal, WPAv2 Personal and WEP.

Even if I just use “Open”, if the SSID is hidden it does not work. Is there any reason Hidden SSID’s should not be working?

This has been recently fixed and not yet in a release. I suggest you to try a recent snapshot (http://snapshots.linaro.org/96boards/dragonboard410c/linaro/debian/latest/).

The scanning was only passive (device listening for AP beacons), to connect hidden SSID, we need active scanning to send directed ‘probe requests’.
