Haptic support for Snapdragon 820E

Hello,
Has Haptic driver been validated in Dragonboard 820c?
Is there any procedure to test the feature?

Regards,
Ajith.

AFAIK there is no haptic driver to validate on a DB820C.

Is there even a DB820C to validate a driver ON?

Thanks

Regards,
Ajith.

Hi all,

My board is SD820 custom board. The board has haptic device on it.
Is there any support in 4.14 kernel ?.
Where can I get the support for haptic device ?.

Regards,
Ajith.

The kernel can certainly run a haptic device, if that is what you’re asking. If you’re looking for information on configuring and enabling it, you probably should consult the documentation for the driver that applies to that device – whether it is an upstream driver in the kernel, or an out-of-tree driver supplied by the vendor. If all else fails, contact the manufacturer or vendor of that device.

Thanks for your support.

Regards,
Ajith.
