Learn about your Orange Pi i96 board as well as how to prepare and set up for basic use
Setup - What you will need
Need
- Orange Pi i96
- Board based on the RDA8810PL ARM Cortex-A5
- TF Card (microSD Card)
- 8GB or bigger ; class 10. Branded TF cards which are much more reliable are the good choice
- Power Adapter
- At lease 5V/2A high quality power adapter, OTG could use as power supply.
- USB Keyboard and Mouse
- Any keyboard and mouse with USB port is applicable; Keyboard and mouse are high-power, so a USB concentrator is required.
- TTL to USB cable
- Support debug log in
Out of the Box
The following subsections should describe how to get started with the Orange Pi i96 using the release build shipped with the boards. The Orange Pi i96 board is ready to use “out of the box” with a preinstalled version of the Debian Linux distribution.
