What support of Linaro Linux for QC proriatery HW blocks (ISP, VPU, GPU, NPU, ...)?

Dear 96Boards Community,

I would like to develop custom camera sensor solution (i.e custom MIPI-CSI2 sensor driver) for Qualcomm platforms such as SDA845 (RB3) or QRB5165 (RB5).

I would imagine that compared to Qualcomm proprietary kernel, Linaro Linux would be more feasible for me to bringup a custom board including the camera sensor. But I do not have a clear vision on how could I benefit from Qualcomm HW blocks such as ISP, VPU, NPU, … in Linaro Linux, please ?

Could someone help to clarify, please ?

Thanks in advance and best regards,
K.
